In Cattolica, the equipped beaches, accessible for a fee, are numbered from South to North starting from Bagni 4 up to 114. Some of them have swimming pools, whirlpools, playgrounds, gyms, entertainment and babysitting services. The closest is just 400m from AlbaB&B. FREE BEACHES
In Cattolica there are 5 public beaches, totally free and much loved by tourists and locals. They are perfect for enjoying the sea even if you have limited time, or if you have your own equipment. They can all be reached by foot or bike from Alba B&B.
DARSENA 1,4Km map
After the renovation of the dock, a new beach was born. Perfect for enjoying the sunset while looking at the sea, near bathroom n.1 and close the Sunset square.
SQUARE PRIMO MAGGIO 700m map
A few steps from Piazza Primo Maggio and the dancing fountains, between baths 42 and 44, it is the closest free beach to the center of Cattolica.
VENTENA RIVER 1,2Km map
Small beach on the mouth of the Ventena river after establishment 108. At the port-canal it is possible to admire the small boats that take off.
SQUARE DELLE NAZIONI 1,4Km map
It is the largest in the city and is near the Cattolica Aquarium. It houses a sailing club where you can rent sports equipment.
OASIS OF THE CONCA 1,8Km map
Natural beach in the mouth of the Conca river. Immersed in the park, which extends for 15Km towards the hinterland, it is the most natural and wild beach in the city.
S.BARTOLO'S BEACHES
There are some beautiful beaches absolutely to visit inside the San Bartolo Natural Park. The oasi between Pesaro and Gabicce is crossed by the panoramic road that connects the various town, between climbs, descents and views.
BAY VALLUGOLA 8Km map
A small port, a free beach, and anequipped one, bars and restaurants in the park. Reachable by scooter, car (paid parking) or by ship with boats that leave directly from Cattolica beach.
FIORENZUOLA DI FOCARA 14Km map
Fiorenziola di Focara, is a picturesque village at the top of the hill. To reach the beach you have to park in the village, here there are bars, restaurants, an excellent Italian's street food and a store where you can stock up before going down by foot. After about 20 minutes of walking you will finally reach the beach, here you will not find any commercial activities or services, but you can enjoy the nature and relax.
